We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when you register on the Services, express an interest in obtaining information about us or our products and Services, when you participate in activities on the Services, or otherwise when you contact us.

Sensitive Information. We do not process sensitive information.


Technical Information. We collect technical information necessary for the operation of the Oasis Defender. This information includes, but is not limited to, cloud network architecture, cloud nodes and their attributes (names, IP addresses, settings, etc.), cloud infrastructure templates, operational logs. Under no circumstances does this information include data processed in the Cloud Information System. In addition to this Privacy Policy, this statement is guaranteed by the limited rights account used by Oasis Defender to access the customer's cloud. More information about the limited rights account is provided in the process of creating a new cloud connection in the Oasis Defender GUI interface. Payment Data. We may collect data necessary to process your payment if you make purchases, such as your payment instrument number, and the security code associated with your payment instrument. All payment data is stored by Stripe. You may find their privacy notice link(s) here: http://www.stripe.com/privacy.



Social Media Login Data. We may provide you with the option to register with us using your existing social media account details, like your Facebook, Twitter, or other social media account. If you choose to register in this way, we will collect the information described in the section called 'HOW DO WE HANDLE YOUR SOCIAL LOGINS?' below.



All personal information that you provide to us must be true, complete, and accurate, and you must notify us of any changes to such personal information.



Information automatically collected


In Short: Some information — such as your Internet Protocol (IP) address and/or browser and device characteristics — is collected automatically when you visit our Services.


We automatically collect certain information when you visit, use, or navigate the Services. This information does not reveal your specific identity (like your name or contact information) but may include device and usage information, such as your IP address, browser and device characteristics, operating system, language preferences, referring URLs, device name, country, location, information about how and when you use our Services, and other technical information. This information is primarily needed to maintain the security and operation of our Services, and for our internal analytics and reporting purposes.


We use Hotjar in order to better understand our users’ needs and to optimize this service and experience. Hotjar is a technology service that helps us better understand our users’ experience (e.g. how much time they spend on which pages, which links they choose to click, what users do and don’t like, etc.) and this enables us to build and maintain our service with user feedback. Hotjar uses cookies and other technologies to collect data on our users’ behavior and their devices. This includes a device's IP address (processed during your session and stored in a de-identified form), device screen size, device type (unique device identifiers), browser information, geographic location (country only), and the preferred language used to display our website. Hotjar stores this information on our behalf in a pseudonymized user profile. Hotjar is contractually forbidden to sell any of the data collected on our behalf.

Our servers are located in cloud infrastructure in India. If you are accessing our Services from outside India, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed by us in our facilities and by those third parties with whom we may share your personal information (see 'WHEN AND WITH WHOM DO WE SHARE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?' above), in and other countries.


If you are a resident in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom (UK), or Switzerland, then these countries may not necessarily have data protection laws or other similar laws as comprehensive as those in your country. However, we will take all necessary measures to protect your personal information in accordance with this privacy notice and applicable law.

12. CONTROLS FOR DO-NOT-TRACK FEATURES


Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems and mobile applications include a Do-Not-Track ('DNT') feature or setting you can activate to signal your privacy preference not to have data about your online browsing activities monitored and collected. At this stage no uniform technology standard for recognising and implementing DNT signals has been finalised. As such, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online. If a standard for online tracking is adopted that we must follow in the future, we will inform you about that practice in a revised version of this privacy notice.

Oasis Defender operates by requiring a dedicated role within each user's cloud environment. This role is specifically configured to collect only the information necessary for Oasis Defender to function. 1. Limited Permissions: The permissions assigned to this role are carefully restricted to ensure that only essential data is accessed. We prioritise your privacy and data security, and therefore limit our data collection to what is strictly necessary to provide our services. 2. Transparency in Permissions: For a detailed understanding of the specific permissions required, users can refer to our documentation, which is tailored to each cloud provider. This information is available at https://github.com/OasisDefender/OasisUsersCreation. We encourage users to review these details to understand the scope of data access. 3. Commitment to Data Security: We are committed to maintaining the highest standards of data security and privacy. The data collected through this dedicated cloud role will be managed in accordance with our comprehensive privacy policy.
